Brandon's role in the company is oversee the long term plan and vision of ShotHawk. Brandon has carefully managed the company's intellectual property with the Board of Advisors. He has also worked to secure the funding that has propelled ShotHawk to where it is today. Moving forward Brandon is excited to continue work with his team bringing ShotHawk's active threat responding units to the market!
Ohm's role in the company is to oversee all operations and ensure the company is headed in the right direction from a project management perspective. The current departments he oversees include the AI Integration and R&D, Marketing, and Finance. A fun fact about Ohm is that he speaks over 5 different languages! He looks forward to working with the team!
Nate oversees ShotHawk's new product development, including the production of pilot units. He manages ShotHawk's innovation space at Distillery Labs. Nate also has helped contribute significantly towards ShotHawk's intellectual property property portfolio.
Ved Vyas is in charge of the machine learning development strategy. Working with his team, Ved has developed the AI program that runs ShotHawk's MVP. Ved is excited to lead his development and ShotHawk forward into more development to help make ShotHawk's products as robust as possible!
Graci has worked to manage ShotHawk's company marketing, onboarding, Microsoft OneDrive. She also creates social media posts and newsletters, as well as works on customer discovery. Graci is currently working on several new media projects to sharpen ShotHawk's public image!
Our journey started in the September of 2022, when we first came together as a team to work towards a solution that could mitigate the impact of active shootings. Since becoming a business in February of 2023, we have made it our mission to see that our concept for an active shooter response system becomes a reality. We are readily working towards the development of our system, with in-house prototyping, machine learning program development, and have filled for our provisional patent.
CEO, Brandon Johnson and his family were 7 feet under the largest tornado ever recorded in the month of November in 2013. The devastation, generosity, and unity of people from around the community, the surrounding Central Illinois area, and even the nation following the tragedy inspired what has become ShotHawk's mission today: Reduce the impact left by disasters, starting with one that is man-made and plaguing society, active shootings.
